Aurora Planetarium's aim is to explain the Solar System and Space beyond our small planet in an immersive theatre environment whilst inspiring minds in the process.

Currently, with the ongoing Covid-19 endemic still prevalent in the UK Aurora Planetarium delivers services safely, Aurora Planetarium has now working full time again and is offering planetarium-based learning with the emphasis on safety.
​
The planetarium dome is kept inflated by the continuous pumping of air into the dome, considering a class full of students, teachers and the operator, the safety of everyone is paramount, as such we have changed the way we operate incorporating Covid safety and hygene measures into our protocols to minimise risks within the dome and other presentation types.
​
As an alternative to a dome experience Aurora Planetarium can attend at your school/Premises and deliver a video presentation via projection/Smart board, facilitate Q & A sessions whilst working in close conjunction with your teachers to help deliver your science curriculum/presentations.

Hi! My name is Paxi. I'm an explorer from another planet. I've parked my spaceship in orbit and parachuted down to Earth to meet you.
My home planet orbits a star not too far from your Sun, so you could say we are neighbours.

Booking.
To avoid disappointment, we advise that you phone (07850086681), email colin@auroraplanetarium.com or fill in the contact form below, in order to check our availability. Before contacting us choose a few possible dates, and we will do our best to deliver your shows on your preferred dates but cannot guarantee such dates due to other commitments.

Hire Rates.
Aurora Planetarium has not raised its prices over the last 6yrs, however due to rising costs being passed onto me I have regrettably had to increase my prices to cover these additional expenses.
Aurora Planetarium still offers excellent value for money as my testimonials page evidences.

Monday to Friday:
£375 for a half day, up to four 3/4hr sessions.
£75 for each additional show
£500 for a full day or up to eight 3/4hr shows with a break for lunch.
Bespoke evening shows, please contact me to discuss your needs
Weekends (please contact for information)
Mileage is charged at 50p per mile from our West Yorkshire base.

Cancellation.
A deposit is not required to secure bookings, however once a contracted booking has been agreed a cancellation charge would be made on the following basis: Within one week of the event a 50% charge, within 48 hours a 75% charge, On the day cancellation a 100% charge. However, should I be able to re-scheduled with you no charge would be made.
